PHOTOS & VIDEO: After weeks of preparation and nightly pre-dinner meetings throughout town, thousands in Lakewood are gearing up to gather in support of Chai Lifeline – Shluchim in helping the most vulnerable families in the Kehilah.
“Attending their Dinner, even for a short while will give tremendous chizuk to their staff, their volunteers and the families they help,” says a coordinator.
The dinner will be taking place this coming Monday, June 24, at Bais Faiga.
The program will include Divrei Bracha from the Rosh HaYeshiva, and Rabbi Shmuel Newman will present the Community Service Award to Stephan Grupp, Director of Translational Research, Center for Childhood Cancer Research at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Additionally, Rabbi Shmuel Hirth, Rosh Yeshivas Nefesh Hachaim, will address the Dinner speaking from a parent’s perspective.

I’d love to see the videos from the event…
