Thousands Come Out For Fireworks To Celebrate Independence Day

PHOTOS & VIDEO: Thousands of residents from Lakewood and surrounding towns gathered around Lake Carasaljo Tuesday evening to enjoy a fireworks display in honor of Independence Day.The approximately 20 minute show was attended by Mayor Menashe Miller, Committeeman and Police Liaison Meir Lichtenstein, Committeeman Albert Akerman and other township officials.

The Lakewood Police Department Special Operations Division, Fire Department, Fire Marshal’s Office, EMS, DPW, Lakewood First Aid and Hatzolah were on hand to ensure the event went as smoothly as possible.
