Thousands Attend Fireworks Event At Lake Carasaljo

[PHOTOS & VIDEO, VIDEO 2 – Of barge] (Updated 11:40 PM) Thousands gathered at Lake Carasaljo this evening to enjoy a fireworks display. Hundreds of families lined the streets of South Lake Drive, while many others sat on in the sand of the North Lake Beach to enjoy the show, which was in place of the July 4th event.

The Lakewood Police Department, Fire Department, Fire Marshal”s Office, EMS and Hatzolah were on hand at the event.

My house was Shaking…at first I thought it was another earthquake…then I saw lightning….it took me time to realize the festivities… I ended getting a great view from my Window!….Nice Fireworks!!!

What a waste of $$$ should have saved it for next year or sold it off to a beach town or blue claws. Maybe 10% of the amount of people who come out on 4th of july were at the fireworks tonight.

I was wishing to read that thousands came out to celebrate the new zeman and limud hatorah,that
the crowds packed both sides of lake drive.

I was so happy to have the fireworks as a late bday present this year. actually i was slightly disappointed when it was canceled in july, but it turned out to be a great show. For a lot of people the best spot was on south lake drive near Sunset Road. Absolutely stunning colors and designs. A job well done. Thank you so much to the township for making that magical night happen. Hopefully we should see many more magical nights to come.
