[COMMUNICATED] This Sunday, September 18th, sing the songs you love at a Kumzing event: Miracles Live!

If you’ve never heard of a Kumzing, an interactive musical event that involves the audience, that’s because it’s never been done for Jewish women before. Some events are about a performer on a stage. This one is about you, the audience, singing the songs you love and connect to.

Chayala Neuhaus doesn’t often perform live. But, this Sunday night at The Ritz Theater in Elizabeth, Miracles live! will make its debut featuring Chayala and an all star lineup.

Chayala is thrilled to be sharing the stage with the amazing Mindy Blatt, guest vocalist Sari Hartstein, and the Melodica all women’s Band.

But why now? This past year, Chayala released Miracles 3, her third album featuring her signature compositions which are packed with heart and meaning. The reaction and feedback came pouring in remotely. But, she says, there’s nothing like the feeling of singing your songs together with an audience of women and girls, and seeing how they inspire and affect people in real time.

The idea for a live event was born with the goal of bringing thousands of women and girls together to sing and connect. It won’t be live-streamed and there will be no cameras present. The energy and the magic will be live and live only.

This event is dedicated to Bridges, an organization that helps place children who need a temporary safe haven. When children can’t stay at home, because of whichever unique situation, Bridges helps place them in respite and host families for a time, and give them a loving environment, until the families get back on their feet. Just like every voice will makes a difference at this kumzing, every one of us can make a difference in the lives of these children by getting involved. At the event, Chayala will be debuting an all new song inspired by chesed that Bridges does.

“It’s erev Yom Tov–what better time is there to connect? We spend so many hours on the physical preparation, but music is a spiritual preparation that uplifts us going into the Yamim noraim. There is a thick thread of inspiration woven through this event. And nothing inspires me more then the idea of sharing music with thousands of women and girls.”
