Police are searching for two brazen suspects who broke into a local home in broad daylight and stole cash and jewelry from a pried open safe – after apparently using a pizza delivery driver as a ruse.
At around noon, a Domino’s pizza delivery person can be seen on home surveillance video holding a box of pizza, knocking on the front door multiple times. When there was no answer at the door, he left.
Approximately 30 seconds later, a car pulled up and two men wearing construction-looking vests got out of the car and made entry into the home via a window.
Once inside, the thieves used a crow bar to force open a gun safe in the upper floor of the home. The thieves stole tens of thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry, but left the multiple guns behind.
Police, with the help of the homeowner and his friends, managed to track down the Domino’s delivery person, who it turns out was apparently unaware that he was being used as cover to see if anyone was home. It was also determined that the instructions for the driver were that the order would be paid in cash, and “to knock hard.”
The plates on the suspect’s vehicle were reportedly fictitious.
An investigation is underway.
(Per the request of the homeowner, some details were left out.)
Maybe the cleaning person was not so honest?
Who tipped them off?
Where was it ? Don’t leave cash in the house. That’s what banks are made for.
Typical snarky micro managing controlling liberal. Blame the victim. What’s it you business what people keep in their homes. You must not be a person of means, I happen to keep close to 100k in my bedroom safe at all times. Most wealthy people do.
What location this happen?
The best place in the world to hide your cash is to loan it to a school and you should pick 3 schools like the Gemara says not to put all your money in one spot like a safe. A school 99% of the time they will give you back your loan maybe not tomorrow but you will definitely get it back.
Hashem has many ways to send you the money. Also you can loan it to the school where your child is currently enrolled.
There is a story that happened with the Chofetz Chaim
זכר צדיק וקדוש לברכה
A man once gave the Chofetz Chaim a donation for his Yeshiva. Many years later this man passed away and his wife didn’t have money to rent an apartment.
The Chofetz Chaim arranged that the wife of that donor she was able to stay in a nice room that was near the Yeshiva and the Chofetz Chaim also sent to her money for food.
It is pretty obvious that the best investment in the world is to loan or to
donate to a reliable Mossad or to a Gmach.
I know the family personally they’re young and very generous
They are lucky because if we would have caught them only person called would have been the coroner
