[ADVERTORIAL] As you well know The Special Children’s Center is a unique Chessed organization which knows no bounds. Any time that a parent of a special needs child needs support, The Center is there for them. The Center provides respite care for special needs children after school, on Sundays, legal holidays, Erev Yom Tov, Isru Chag, pre and post summer day camp, and even snow days. The Center also offers Shabbos respite. For many parents, the opportunity to send their child to the Center for Shabbos means not only a much-needed break, but the opportunity to give their time and attention to their other children.
The Special Children’s Center has grown into more than just a respite program. It has expanded its services to include many other programs which play a vital role in our community. They now have integrated daycare and preschool programs, where parents who are beginning to notice developmental delays bring their first concerns. There, infants and toddlers with developmental delays learn and play alongside their typically-developing peers. The Center for Education services school-aged children, and offers an integrated program which provides full therapy services to children with special needs. The Center also offers expert advocacy and case management to help parents navigate the overwhelming sea of care options and obtain government assistance. The Center is now the proud host of 4 beautiful, family-like group homes for children and adults. They also run a powerful adult vocational program, giving adults with special needs the tools to become productive members of the community.
Today, the Special Children’s Center is calling upon you to join their integral work. You can help the Center change the lives of special children and their families by joining them for their second annual Center Stage Cook Off Event. The Cook Off is an event unlike any other, featuring a heart-stopping cooking competition in real time, an exquisite Chinese Auction, and an uplifting video starring the children and staff of the Special Children’s Center. On Monday evening, May 6th, your attendance will support hundreds of special children and their families.

I’m a bit confused on the schedule and program. In the auction book it says about a buffet by Michoel Schlick while in the ads it doesn’t mention anything about it. Plus, it doesn’t say if it will be milchigs or fleishigs. It is also unclear when the doors open and when the program starts. Can someone explain???
