Originally designed for the post-yeshivah working guy, The Shmuz now influences thousands of Jewish people around the world through Rabbi Shafier’s online videos, articles and live webinars. The new site will allow visitors to download free classes, access various seminars, keep up to date with live events and pose questions to Rabbi Shafier through a new ‘Question and ‘Answer’ forum.
As well as contributing regularly to The Lakewood Scoop, The Shmuz currently encompasses more than 13,000 email subscribers and reaches over half a million people on Social Media. The new site is set to build on this following by providing all of Rabbi Shafier’s Torah content in one easily accessible place.
“The new Shmuz site will be a key resource for anyone seeking practical advice from a Torah perspective”, said Rabbi Ben Tzion Shafier, the director of the Shmuz. “Following the success of our recent fundraiser, I am extremely grateful to Hashem for allowing us to provide the community with a beautiful, easy to use site that will give their neshamos a kick-start”.
