The Legacy of Rav Shteinman, Z’TL: Cornerstone Laid for New Orchot Torah Yeshiva in Bnei Brak

[COMMUNICATED] Thousands of people attended the post shiva main hesped at Rav Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman, Z’TL’s Yeshiva Orchot Torah in Bnei Brak, led by Gedolei Yisroel including, Maran Rav Chaim Kanievsky, Shlita, Rav Baruch Dov Povarski, Rosh Yeshiva Ponevezh, Rav Gershon Edelstein, Rosh Yeshiva, Ponevezh, the Belzer Rebbe, the Sanzer Rebbe, Rav Yitzchak Scheiner, Rosh Yeshiva Kamenitz, Rav Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, Rosh Yeshiva Ateres Yisroel and Rav Yaakov Hillel, Rosh Yeshiva, Ahavat Shalom.

Upon completion of the hesped, the gedolim placed the cornerstone for Kriyat Ayelet Hashachar, the new Yeshiva Orchot Torah building.

At the age of 84, when most people would be content with what they have accomplished in life, Maran Harav Hagaon Rav Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman, Z’TL devoted his spiritual and physical reserves to creating Yeshiva Orchot Torah, which is predicated on his Torah hashkafa for every talmid who wishes to be imbued with love of Torah, adherence to halacha and loyalty to one’s fellow man. Today, the Orchot Torah network of yeshivas across Eretz Yisroel has grown by leaps and bounds. The current Yeshiva Orchot Torah facility can no longer support the hundreds of bochrim who wish to study in a warm and inviting environment.

The $65 million dollar, 22,000 meter new facility will be home to a beautiful Beit Midrash and dormitory for the growing number of students.
