The Homeowners Show – Everything a New Homeowner Needs, All Exhibited Under One Roof

Whether you’re building a new home, purchasing an existing one, moving from one house to another, or fixing up your current home, you have a lot to think about. Your checklist of all the things you need is certainly quite long.

Kitchen cabinets, furniture, appliances, flooring, painting, lighting, window shades and blinds, awnings, cleaning services, security cameras…The list goes on and on. Wouldn’t it be great if you could find all of these products and services in one location?

At The Homeowners Show, that is exactly what you’ll find!

Following the success of two shows in the Monsey area that were attended by thousands of new and old homeowners, The Homeowners Show is coming to the Lakewood community for the first time on Sunday, May 14th. It will feature over 75 exhibitors all under one roof and will be held in the spacious RWJ Barnabas Health Arena in Toms River.

For people in the process of building a new home, or those moving or renovating their homes, The Homeowners Show will definitely be a must-visit. The exhibitors at this unique expo will be from all different home and building-related industries and will be offering products and services geared specifically towards the new homeowner, including everything mentioned above and more!

The focus oof the expo is helping homeowners make their new homes truly feel like home. If it belongs in a home, you will find it at the Homeowners Show.

This is not just another show where people exchange pleasantries and business cards. Rather, it is an opportunity for those selling products and services to connect with hundreds of new homeowners who are actively looking to make purchases and obtain services. It is a unique opportunity for homeowners to explore the many vendors and service providers at the show and learn more about the products and services that can help them make their homes truly feel like their own, as well as for the vendors to meet eager potential customers and expand their business.

Compass Conferences, a division of Compass, is the brain behind this exciting convention. Some of the events they’ve organized in the recent past, in addition to the two massively successful Homeowner Shows in Monsey, include The Boss Summit, an event for business owners, The Sales Seminar, a full-day educational and networking seminar for salespeople, J2C, for employees looking to grow in the business world, and more.

With their finger on the pulse of the frum community’s needs, Samuel Stern and his Compass team have identified the void faced by first-time homebuyers, those seeking to invest in real estate, or families in the process of renovating their home. He partnered with World of Appliances, a leading appliance business headquartered in Mahwah, New Jersey who are a main sponsor of this show, to create an expo for the Lakewood community that is bigger and better than any seen before.

For many years, World of Appliances has been at the forefront of providing top-of-the-line appliances at affordable prices for any home. Their team of appliance experts are extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of what a home needs. They know every product inside and out and are adept at matching customers with their perfect appliances in record time.

Purchasing from World of Appliances is a very pleasant experience. Their friendly staff are a joy to deal with and love nothing more than to introduce customers to their ideal appliances from the most popular and reliable manufacturers around – including all of the latest and best “Shabbos mode” appliances that meet the most exacting halachic standards – and provide them with the highest level of customer service. World of Appliances will have a full exhibit at the Homeowners Show to allow the Lakewood community to personally see all they have to offer and to benefit from their expertise and service.

Exhibitors have been looking forward to The Homeowners Show for the Lakewood community for months, knowing that it will be a venue where many people who are serious about making a purchase all come together under one roof. In the spirit of healthy competition, all the vendors offer special sales and one-of-a-kind deals, exclusive to customers of the expo.

One vendor who attended a previous Homeowners Show explained that he did so because it’s a very targeted way of reaching end-users and buyers directly.

“We came laser-focused with what we want to offer our clients, and were, b”h, extremely successful,” he says.

At the Lakewood show, he’ll be in attendance again.

“It’s a no-brainer,” he says.

He describes the atmosphere at the show as unlike any he’s ever seen before. It’s calm and pressure-free, allowing vendors to spend as much time as necessary with all the attendees.

He states, “No one is pushing anything, there’s no quota to reach, the goal is to educate the consumers and answer their questions.”

It’s also hard to find any “window shoppers” in attendance. Whoever is there is a serious buyer.

Whether they’re looking to start building their new home from the ground up, or they’re just shopping for those finishing touches: be it that perfect chandelier or to finally replace those paper window shades that are always left for last, The Homeowners Show is the place to be.

As an attendee of a previous show explains, “When people come to the show, they’ll leave with so much more than they expected. They’ll be educated, and armed with more than just basic information about buying a new home. It really pays to come to the show, you’ll go home with a lot.”
