Thanksgiving Busing Goes Smoothly – Thanks To The Dedicated Bus Drivers

School busing this Thanksgiving went very smoothly, a Board of Education officials tells TLS. The official believes that all the bus drivers who were intended to work this Holiday, showed up.

Despite it being a State requirement, their dedication to their jobs while their families enjoy the day off, isn’t something to be taken for granted, and officials don’t.

“We understand their sacrifice they made, and appreciate their commitment to the children of Lakewood”, says BOE member Chesky Seitler.

Nearly all Private schools chose to have busing today, but about half of schools will forgo busing for X-mas.

  1. For those that showed up thank yoU, unfortunatley there were those that didn’t show up not for the boys or the girl schools. Parents were waiting at home only to realize that once the normal time had past for their children to come home that they had to drop everthing and make a carpool. Some schoold were very responsable and stareted to all those parents while others just put it on their emergency number.
If their job requires them to be there and they know they are taking a sick day or vacation day then let at least the bus co give notice to the schools. For those bus drivers that just didn’t show up there should be a penalty to the bus co and forwarded to the bus driver.
Children saftey is first and making sure they are transported safley with reponsable drivers is a must.

Just not showing up is irresponsable of the driver and the bus co

  2. And I really appreciate that this town is so unamerican it refuses to celebrate a national holiday that is non denominational and celebrated almost EVERYWHERE in the USA but here.

  3. To Skeet – we have a multitude of holidays in the Jewish calendar. There is nothing wrong with Thanksgiving, we just do not celebrate in the formal sit down dinner way.

  4. # 4 it seems as our own government doesn’t care as it allows over 20-40 million illegal people in this country who cant speak a word of English forget about a turkey day !
