As reported last week on TLS, the Mashgiach, Rav Matisyahu Salomon shlita was flown to the hospital on Friday morning due to having continuous seizures.

In an email to Yeshivas moments ago, the Askonim involved wrote that doctors have been trying different medications to stop the seizures but up to this point have not been successful.

It was decided that he be sedated and placed on a respirator in order to rest the body and to be able to do more aggressive testing to find the problem.

However, time is of essence, as the longer he is on the ventilator the harder it will to wean him off of it.
