  1. no it is not the parents fault nor the caregiver or older sibling this was something which was decreed in Heaven and we must pray but not blame and not think we know any better or we are any better we can all pray and we can all try and we can all hope

    • So true! Where has our Emunah gone? When I take a nap I leave my kid alone in the playroom with a blowtorch, a loaded gun & a very angry rattlesnake.
Please before you berate me, call me names, or say I should have my kids taken away from me remember no one in the house is to blame because it was “Decreed in Heaven”

      • And we are wondering why we are still in Galus. Positive Outlook was probably trying to pre-empt all the negative, judgmental comments that usually follow such a story. But Help can’t take the ‘hint’ and in the 3 Weeks, posts a sarcastic, cynical response. Maybe you need help in exercising an ayin tovah. Instead of posting such negativity, take out a sefer tehillim and daven for this child. Wishing you a refuas hanefesh…

    • For every danger there’s another solution, which you can make a list and pursue it for the rest of your life and still not be secure because there’s another danger lurking out there. They say you cannot be too careful and it’s true it’s simply doesn’t work. And then there are solutions which can cause harm by themselves…..

  2. As a zechus for this young boy’s refuah shelaima b’karov, I am distributing for free a laminated bookmark with information on what to keep in mind when you say the beginning words of every brachah (Baruch Atah Hashem Elokeinu Melech Haolam) taken from the brachos book by Rabbi Ungar (with his permission). If you would like a copy mailed to you, please email me your name and mailing address. [email protected] Thank you and may we hear besoros tovos very soon, b’ezras Hashem.

  3. Sometimes people are not in their own home, they are visiting at the houses of family, friends, or neighbors who don’t have window guards.
We happen to have window guards installed for years, and the other day one of them came swinging off on one end when someone pushed at it.
Nothing is fool proof. Do your best.
And just daven that this boy has a full recovery.

  4. Please give updates, because whenever I say teillim or refaenu for a name that was posted, I want to know how long to continue and when the person IY”H got better

  5. Thanks for the update and may he continue on to a refuah shelaima b’karov, bezras Hashem. I am still distributing brachos bookmarks as described above. If you would like one, please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address.
