Tehillim: 7 Year Old Lakewood Girl Diagnosed With Cancer R’L

[TEHILLIM CHART] A local 7 year old Lakewood girl was diagnosed with cancer today R’L. The family of the girl is hoping to have the entire Tehillim completed each day for 30 days, by having 30 people reserving one ‘Yom’ of the Tehillim for the next month.

If you’d like to take part in this Tehillim chain, please post your initials in the comments section, along with the day you would like to reserve, and it will be added to the chart. (You can also email [email protected]).

May the young girl, Sarah Gittel Bas Miriam Mira, merit a Refuah Shelaima.

  1. If the family would like to have the tehillm chain done in another way, I will bli neder, attempt to do what I did in the past….which is to have the chapters covered from the beginning to the end and then start over again (meaning a reader would post which chapters they are able to say at that point in time ONLY ONCE ON THAT DAY and the next poster would continue from that point going consecutively thru the sefer. But if the family prefers to do it the way the article states, then that is the way it should be done.

  3. The family sent a message that in addition to the daily “YOM” tehillim group for thirty days, they would appreciate if we had constant tehillim being said, starting from aleph to the end, and starting all over again. As mentioned in my previous posting, a person is only making a commitment to say the chapter(s) ONE TIME at the time that they post they are going to say it. The next poster will then say the next chapter in the sefer, etc. So to anyone reading this posting – if you find yourself with a few minutes of time, please see where we are up to in the cycle and post if you are able to say the next chapter(s) at that point in time. You are only commiting yourself to saying that specified chapter(s) once, NOT DAILY.

Thank you, Rhonda Goldstein , for started us off saying chapters

    1 – 2 inclusive

    i will now do chapters

    3 – 4 inclusive

  4. Goldy, there is always an overlap because of the time delay. Can we possibly do this some other way that we can see in real time what chapter we are up to?
I can say chapters 5-20 inclusive.

  5. Leeba,
I wish there was a way around it..but I cannot think of one. So I would say that even if more than one person is saying the same chapter, it will only help more up in Shamayim!

  6. my friends and i are saying

please whoever is reading this, join the tehilim chain..even if you have only three minutes you can say at least one chapter.
