Teen revived after going into cardiac arrest while wrestling at the Lakewood High School (VIDEO)

lhs-caridiac-arrestAs first reported by TLS last night on our news alerts, a teenager in Lakewood was revived after going into cardiac arrest during a sport, police confirmed to TLS.

Police say the approximately 17-year-old was reportedly wrestling at the Lakewood High School gym when he went unconscious.

An EMS official tells TLS bystanders immediately grabbed an AED defibrillator and shocked the teen, bringing back a pulse.

EMS personnel arrived moments later and treated the patient before transporting him to Jersey Shore University Center.
