TAKE NOTICE: 6th Street & Forest Avenue Now a 4-Way Stop

6 x forest stopPHOTO: The intersection of 6th Street & Forest Avenue – one of the busiest intersections for pedestrian traffic due to its proximity to BMG and Satmar – has become a 4-way stop.

The intersection today received two blinking light stop signs for the Northbound and Southbound directions.

The intersection of 9th Street and Clifton Avenue which sees similar pedestrian traffic, also recently became a 4-way stop.

After a recommendations for a 4-way stop is submitted, Lakewood’s Traffic & Safety division conducts a study which includes crash stats, traffic congestion and more.
