Take Note of Lakewood traffic pattern changes for Purim

This year, in an effort to make the traffic patterns more efficient for Purim night, the Lakewood Police Department is implementing the following changes:

10th street between Madison and Clifton (where the entrance of BMG’s Bais Aron is) will be open for pedestrians only. Cars will be unable to enter from either side.

9th street between Madison and Clifton (where the entrance of BMG’s Bais Sholom is) will be open for traffic as usual, but there will be no parking from 9:30 PM (March 20) until 5:00 AM Purim morning.

LPD has advised us that they will enforce this strictly.

9th and 10th street traffic between Clifton and Lexington avenues will be one-way only on Purim night.

9th street traffic will flow from Lexington to Clifton.

10th street traffic will flow from Clifton to Lexington.

Everyone is asked to follow these guidelines, creating an atmosphere which is enjoyable to all, and does not create a Chilul Hashem.
