Also take note, as earlier reported, left turns are no longer permitted from New Hampshire Avenue onto Chestnut Street.

This is really not the Lakewood I know, where every left turn is a free high stakes game of Whac-A-Mole.
Time= what happens when State, County, and Municipal roads are involved….lots and lots of bureacracy.
How do I get from NH to chestnut if I can’t make a left?

You take the jug handle onto 70 west then a jug handle off 70 & make a left onto chestnut
This would be great if a police officer was stationed there 24/7. NO LEFT TURN will be as effective as RED LIGHTS to the ignorant.
There is a raised sidwalk where the left turn used to be, can’t be ignored.
