Swine Flu Clinic Turns Away 1K When Vaccine Doses Run Out

swine flu nasalPolice said about 1,000 people were turned away Monday after doses of swine flu vaccine ran out at a flu shot clinic. Assistant Public Health Coordinator Daniel Regenye said Monday’s clinic here was scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. However, people began arriving as early as 9 a.m. Ocean County health officials had 1,500 doses. County health officials will meet today to discuss how to handle the crowd expected at another clinic that’s scheduled for Thursday in Stafford Township. The county said additional shipments of swine flu vaccine are expected.AP

  1. anyone know if more will be ocming to lakewood? i heard pregnant woman are high risk and would lke to get the shot but missed it yesterday

  2. before taking the vaccine please understand all ingredients that are entering YOUR body. probably safer to get sick the natural way than to put in a chemical mishmash (including mercury)

  3. the ocean county BOH is giving it on thursday in manahawkin regional school NJ all the way down cedarbridge avenue
    or try Chemed they are a clinic as well and received doses for the h1N1 vaccine.

  4. I will not be volunteering to get a shot, if you want mine , you can have it! I think there are more natural and safer ways to prevent the flu and stay healthy,
