Suspect Leads Cops On Foot Chase To Avoid Apprehension

VIDEO: A suspect lead police on a foot chase Thursday night to avoid being apprehended, police say. Police say they received a call at about 9:45 PM about a man who was disturbing neighbors in the area of Center Street.

Officer Kevin Sunath and Officer Sal Reyes responded to the call, but upon seeing the cops the man fled.

The officers chased the man for a about a block before catching up to him on the Bridge on Cedarbridge Avenue, near the tracks. .

Multiple other officers – including Street Crimes Unit Nate Reyes and others – arrived at the scene and placed the man under arrest.

It turns out the suspect had a warrant out for his arrest.

The suspect was injured during the incident and was transported to the hospital by EMS. TLS-CCP/TLS-89/TLS-MK/TLS-OL.
