Suspect in Lakewood Shooting being Sought by Police

csi shooting sceneThe Lakewood police are seeking a male who is wanted for his role in a shooting in Lakewood.

At approximately 12:30 pm on May 6, Officers responded to the area of 315 Cedarbridge Avenue after receiving a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, police were unable to locate anyone.

“Further investigation, with assistance from the Brick Police Department Detective Bureau, later determined that two males had fired guns at each other during a verbal altercation,” Detective Greg Staffordmsith said.

One of the males, 22-year-old Justin Delifus of Lakewood, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Weapon and Aggravted Assault. Bail was set $175,000 full.

suspectThe second male was identified as 22-year-old Siheed Hyman of Cedarbridge Avenue in Lakewood. He is currently wanted for Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose. Bail is at $175,000 full.
