A driver taking it too quick on the road in Jackson today spun out and took out a mailbox.
The good news is, the driver was a contractor and he fixed it on the spot.

Jackson Police Seeking Suspect In Connection With ‘Hit & No-Run, Mailbox Repair’ Incident
Jackson Police are on the lookout for the driver of a white pickup truck who crashed into a mailbox on Friday and subsequently went on to repair the fallen box.
“If you happen to spot this hit and no-run, mailbox-repair driver,” Jackson Police warned the public in a statement on Friday, “please take heed and make sure to approach him with extreme care and with plenty of warmth and affection, because said suspect is extremely harmless, highly unarmed and an exceedingly benevolent individual, who will definitely receive the police department’s highest of honors.”
The statement went on to say: “The Jackson Police Department is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the location of this incredibly selfless suspect.”
“However, take heed when approaching said suspect’s vehicle,” the statement warned, “because you might forget to tip your hat to him, and to thank him, and to tell him what kind of amazing individual he really is!”
