At that speed that guy is lucky to even be alive, gee wiz that was fast.
Im not saying is ok to drive under the influence and drive this fast but the garbage truck didn’t make a stop.
This primarily shows the danger of not stopping at a stop sign.
Yes. The driver of the garbage truck is clearly at fault for not coming to a complete stop at the stop sign. If he had done so, there probably would have been no accident. However, the driver of the car caused the accident. If he had been driving sober and within the speed limit, there probably would have been no accident.
totally the fault of the garbage truck not stopping.
Baruch HaShem (Thank G-D) the Shikuhr (Drunk) was the only injury and no one else.
Collision was definitely avoidable if the driver of the car wasn’t intoxicated and driving responsibly even if the truck driver did not fully stop before making the turn..I see a lot worse than that everyday in this town..if your going to hand out tickets based on a camera then install one at Rt.9 and central ave and see how many you can give out..people run that left hand turn signal constantly
Not coming to a complete stop at a stop light/sign….police could issue a thousand or more tickets for that in Lakewood every day just need more cameras..but I thought ticketing off a camera was illegal in NJ
@harry an automated camera. Not a video camera being used as evidence in an accident investigation. Not that I agree with this ticket.
