This accident occurred on Friday at the intersection of Brook and County Line – the third one in the area within a week.
No injuries were reported.

Why does a second lane start only to finish 100 feet after the intersection? Causes people to cut off others and confusion to people making a left turn down Brook road when the person coming towards them is in right lane and then goes straight

Welcome to Lakewood where we have high rate of accidents and Lakewood need to be standard sticker and end number of accidents in this township. Will someone do something to end numbers where these intersections are dangerously? We need Police to supervise these location to end number of accidents.

This is the reason Ocean County has high car insurance rates. Slow down, follow the rules (if you don’t know the rules study them). Wait a couple of seconds before driving when light changes, use your signals so others know what you are doing, get off your phone, buckle up your children so they are not standing in car. Seriously, driving here has gotten out of hand and is dangerous.
