People will of course blame the intersection when again stupid driver turned from the center lane (moderated).
Center lane? – Look closer they basically turned from the right lane! What a reckless driver!!
So even worse.
@lakewood scoop, please remove the profanity.
When will the Township of Lakewood do something to end the highest number of accidents?? What are they waiting for?? If I was Government official I would take action to stop these numbers of accidents and make Lakewood Township safe. For Example I would make sign on light. Wait for Green arrow no turn on the Red arrow.
You first need a red arrow than a sign…(There is no red arrow there) – you can place a red arrow there, but with the amount of cars traversing Lakewood having these arrows will cause the traffic to get even worse. How about cars not crossing over a 4 lane highway! look closer the driver basically made a left turn from the right lane!
I knew it, already blaming the intersection for the reckless stupid driver turning from the center/right lane. Stop putting the onus on government when it is the reckless stupid drivers causing the accidents.
It’s simple. Law and order. We need to be tough on crime. To make our streets safer, take these people off the roads. Suspend licenses. It is not fair to those of us who do the right thing!
Elon Musk/Tesla Producing High Tech Bumper Cars For Lakewood Township Traffic
Responding to the steady stream of traffic accidents in Lakewood NJ, Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, announced on Wednesday that the world’s leading EV manufacturer will soon unveil a new, highly sophisticated bumper car, especially designed for Lakewood traffic.
“Lakewood, NJ has way too many traffic accidents”, Mr. Musk told reporters on Wednesday, “however, Tesla is about to solve that problem with the release of its highly-advanced bumper cars.”
“These bumper cars are much more advanced than the typical bumper cars you find in the amusement parks,” Mr. Musk said, “because these cars are designed with incredibly sophisticated rubber bumpers that can withstand the impact of up to 300 mph bumps!”
“With these newly designed bumper cars, driving down a Lakewood road will feel like your driving along one of those exhilarating bumper-car tracks in the amusement parks,” the Tesla CEO said. “Driving in Lakewood is going to evolve from the hazardous, hair-raising experience that it once was into a fun, amusement park-like activity for the entire family.”
“Just pack your entire family into your new Tesla bumper car, crank up the engine to 300 mph, and let the bumping-fun experience begin!” the clearly exuberant CEO said.
“There’s no reason why driving in Lakewood has to be a horrid and fearful experience,” Mr. Musk concluded, “when it can be an extremely fun, cotton candy-like, amusement park-like experience!”
turning from the wrong lane , this accident was caused by the driver not the design of the intersection !
THE GUY LITERALLY TURNED FROM THE STRAIGHT CENTER LANE RECKLESS IS A UNDERSTATMENT
That person needs to retake their driving test or stay off the roads. Guess it takes rocket science to realize that the left turning lane is where you need to be if you want to turn left. Hmmm…if only there were arrows or signs explaining what lane you need to be in
What people don’t realize is that when you turn from the center lane your view is first blocked by the car in the opposite turning lane. Then, as you continue to turn, you are at an angle where the right A-pillar next to the windshield blocks the drivers view. This is the cause of many accidents.
