Super Soul Party for the homeless to be held in Toms River

Last year, Meir Kay announced he was planning to take his popular Super Soul party for the homeless to 20 states – and for the first time, a party will be held here in Toms River.

Super Soul parties are making a difference in the lives of countless people experiencing homelessness.

“We’re gearing up for the 2020 Super Bowl by hosting 20 Super Soul parties across the United States,” says Super Soul. “Our events feature hot buffets, cold drinks, haircuts, clothing drives and a chance to watch the big game. This will be an evening of connection, laughter, and great food made possible by our corporate sponsors Charles A. Blumstein CEO, Edison Home Care and The Surplus Company, LLC.”

Founder Meir Kay is a Jewish social media influencer with millions of fans all over the world. In his own words, he shares why he was inspired to start Super Soul parties.

“Ever since I saw a cardboard box that read ‘I don’t want food. I don’t want a drink-I just want someone to talk with,’ my world changed and I knew I needed to let my fellow humans who are experiencing homelessness to know that they are not alone, they are seen and to bring that awareness to local communities. Our mission is to continue to inspire and spread positivity to those most in need in more communities across the country.

The Toms River event will be held Sunday at Urban Air, 1256 Indian Head Rd., Toms River, NJ 08755, between 6PM-10PM.

  1. it is high time that we in Lakewood get a shelter. I see so many vulnerable people living on the streets, it is the way of Judaism to do chesed and tikkun olam, values that I grew up with.

  2. very interesting where exactly do you see al these people sleeping in the streets of lakewood? you mean near the bus terminal? on the tracts? they love it there! leave them be

    • we as the Jewish People are people of chesed, it is a midas achzariut to say “let them be”, these are G-d almighty’s creations made in the Image of G-d.
