Sunny Sky And Warm Weather For The Weekend

lakewood clockOne week after downed trees, flooded roads and power outages, New Jersey residents are expected to get a sunny, warmer reprieve for the weekend, according to the National Weather Service. Don’t spend too much time at work today — the forecast calls for sunny skies and temperatures reaching near 70 for many parts of the state. Tonight should be mostly clear, with lows just dropping to the low to mid 40s. Saturday should see highs again going up to near 70, with sunshine forecast throughout the state. Saturday night is expected to be mostly clear again, with mild lows around the mid 40s. Sunday might bring clouds for sections of northern New Jersey, with a 20 percent chance of showers in Newark and surrounding areas. Other parts of the state might see showers later Sunday night, around midnight. Star Ledger
