Sunday: The Joint Base Open House and Air Show

The Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst will be hosting the Open House and Air Show this weekend. The last show was in 2016.

The two-day event is set to take place May 5-6.

In the past, hundreds of thousands have attended the show.

The Air Show will feature the ACC F-22 Raptor Demo Team, Canadian Forces CF18 Demo Team, and the U.S. Army Golden Knights.

NOTE: Keep in mind, depending on the weather, the Tznius may not be up to par with the levels suited for Bnei Torah. Also, consider bringing along your own chair, as there is no sitting area.

  1. There is a lot of walking so you’re better off just finding a good spot to sit on ground. It’s hard to shlep a chair when there’s so much walking.

  3. Also keep in mind that the traffic, parking, and walking from the designated parking areas wil be insane. Leave at least 2 additional hours. Even plan to get there an hour before it starts (you won’t) and bring bubbles or kites or whatnot. And food! It’ll be many more hours than you think.

  5. please make sure to park appropriately there , and use your blinkers etc…people are always looking at us yidden, make sure to make a kiddush hashem ( and of course don’t leave your trash on the floor)
