Summer Season Brings More Graffiti

graffiti_ridge_6-14_11As the outdoor temperatures increase, it appears so does the outdoor ‘activities’. Graffiti vandals, who have been laying low the last few months, are at it once again, targeting homes, fences, trees and poles. The attached photo is of fresh graffiti across a fence recently cleaned of graffiti.

In the Summer months, the crews from the Ocean County Department of Corrections are expected to add graffiti cleanup to their trash cleanups around town.

  1. if Graffiti cant be stopped in progress, like a robbery in progress or other, why is it called a ” Hot-line”?
In other words, we haven’t been making progress on gangs or graffiti to the point that people feel safe and less fearful of becoming a victim of one of these territorial markings themselves when they wake up every morning. Lets makes some progress on these issues…somebody!

  2. the kids do not have an afternoon or night area they can go hang out in. What do you think the kids will do when they are on the streets. Stop blaming children when you take everything away from them.
