Sudden Petirah of Reb Efrayim Rabinowitz Z”L [Shiva Info]

We regret to inform you of the sudden Petirah of Reb Efrayim Rabinowitz Z”L of Lakewood.

Reb Efrayim ben R’ Shlomo Avigdor was found unresponsive in his home this afternoon.

He leaves behind his wife Toba (nee Lieder) and four children, two who are unmarried. He was in his forties.

The Levaya is scheduled to take place at 5:00 PM today at the Lakewood Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, Lakewood. Kevurah in Eretz Yisroel.

  2. I know him and know him well. He was a giant of a person , a giant in Torah a giant in middos and a giant in chesed. He was the ultimate Ben Torah and Ben Aliya . So hard to absorb this news!

  3. BDE!!! Such a sweet person! Always thought about other people! Always made an effort to show up for simchas! Always cared to ask about my well-being, and he has invited us to countless Shabbos meals!!

    Hashem came into his vineyard for the creme de la creme, the ish ha’ashkoles, the giant amongst us.

  5. tzar li alechah achi! A lamdan and baki, with whom I learned bechavrusa 30 years ago in South Fallsburg, a yarei shamayim the likes of which are seldom found anymore, an ayin tovah, and a very refined person. I will miss you greatly, Rav Ephraim! BDE
