Sudden Petirah of R’ Chaim Eliezer Zelcer Z”L

candleWe regret to inform you of the Petirah of R’ Chaim Eliezer Zelcer Z”L, who was suddenly Niftar this evening in Lakewood. He was 63.

At approximately 6 PM, Hatzolah rushed to his home where he was found unresponsive.

R’ Chaim Eliezer Z”L has several children in Lakewood, residing in the Brookhill area.

The Levaya will be taking place at 10:00 PM this evening at the Shemen L’mincha Shul in Brookhill.

A Levaya will also be held at 8:30 AM tomorrow at the Nitra Bais Medrash.

Kevurah will be in the Tzeilim Chelka in Long Island.

  1. Mamesh shocking. I grew up with him all the yrs in Nitra shul. He was probably the most loved man in the shul. He was an extremely funny and Geshmakeh guy. Always with such a cheerful demeanor. It’s a shock because he was a totally well and active person till the last day. Nebech. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

  2. BDE. What a special persona. I did business with him for about a year and he has taught me a lot. He was extremely honest, came on time to a meeting and was a real mentch.

    He woke up each morning to learn at 5AM. He once mentioned to me that he has not come late to a Shachris in years (I cant remember how many years but I remember how it blew me away and made such an impression on me ).

    May his neshama have an aliya. BDE
