Sudden Petirah of Harav Moshe Feigelstock Zatzal, Rosh Yeshivah Tiferes Elimelech

petirah r mosheWe regret to inform you of the Sudden Petirah of Harav Moshe Feigelstock Zatzal, the Rosh Yeshivah of Tiferes Elimelech in New York, who was Niftar today.

The Rosh Yeshivah Zatzal, brother to Harav Yitzchok of Long Beach Yeshivah, and grandson of the Chasam Sofer, has thousands of Talmidim in Lakewood and around the world. He was in his nineties.

Rav Moshe Zatzal reportedly felt ill yesterday, and was found unresponsive at his home this morning, family tells TLS.

The Levaya will be taking place at 4:00 PM at the Yeshivah, 1650 56th Street, Brooklyn.

The Kevurah will take place in Woodbridge, NJ.

  1. A truly unique person and a master mechanech. It would be hard to try and describe what made him so great.
    However one thing all his talmidim can say is that the chinuch he gave over to his talmidim was with clarity and thoughtfulness in matter overlooked by most people in this generation.

  2. BDE he was an amazing person. If I recall correctly his brother yb”ml R’ Yitzhcok is also a grandson of the Chasam Sofer.
