1. I am NOT a posek, but did you actually verify this with one? Grain may be present but is usually not the main ingredient, rendering the feed taaroves chametz sheeino rauy leachilas adam, and given it is meyuchad leachilas behema is not a chametz that is assur to be in your reshus and would not be a problem on Pesach except if you decided to eat it. Check this out for yourself. Gut Moed.

2. I too am not a posek, but to say it’s not raoi l’achilas adam is a stretch.
   I’m sure we’ve all seen little innocent toddlers who when given animal feed, to feed the goats, will innocently starting munching on the “feed” themselves. Certainly it’s yucky looking but no one gets poisoned by it.

   • Lichvod R’ Emes, Very Respectfully, Raoi l’achilas Adam does not mean it is poison. And it’s meyuchad for its purpose. This would not be nichlal in Bal Yeraeh Bal Yematzeh and would be muttar behan’a but not achila. Again, not a peak by any means! I just feel that to this commenter the halacha appears otherwise and is worthwhile for those who this affects to investigate it beyond the well-intended and appreciated public service message.
