This seems to be a scam if you ask me
I received a similar letter a while back from a company looking to take a percentage from me. Turns out that an insurance company owed me something from when I lived in Lakewood around 20 years ago. I got a few hundred Dollars out of it. You can check it up on the NJ Government Site. Regardless of what the $ is from, it’s called unclaimed property.
LOL. This is most definitely not a scam. It’s a very well known government run program. I recovered $100 recently, i know others who recovered significantly more.

Not a scam.. He does this to help people.. I have recovered $$$ because of a letter he sent me. I know who he is and many people have $$$ sitting in these state accounts..
It’s not a scam. Someone let me know that they found my husband’s name on the list, and we recovered money that we didn’t remember that he had from when he was single

I know Mr. Rzepkowicz and he’s a selfless Tzaddik who does this on his own time to try to help people, though people can generally look this up online themselves if they’re aware of it, but for those who are not, he’s made many people aware of money they didn’t know they had…
