Hi, I wanted to inform you about an issue that was going on in JFK today.
Many people booked flights to Israel with stopovers but weren’t told in advance that there are online COVID forms that must be filled out for the stopover country.
American Airlines wasn’t even allowing people onto the check in lines without confirmation of these forms. This caused many people to miss flights and much aggravation.
I Figured it would be helpful if you were able to get the word out.
Thanx!

This is not accurate. I just flew American, with stopovers.
If the stopover is less than 24 hours and you will not be leaving the airport, you do not need to fill out any special forms for the stopover country.
However, I did see some people who were not let on the plane for not fillling out the proper forms. American, or the other airlines involved email you a link which directs you to exactly what you need., Some people did not have the Teudah filled out, which has been required for the past two years. There is also a new silly form you must fill out, at least to ome back to the U.S., which is to affirm you tested for Covid. (This is a silly form, beciase they rewuire the Covid tets papers anyways.) Some people did not know about this form. The airlines asked them to fill it out on the spot. It is a very short form.
Thank You for letting people know! Please check your individual requirements/flights. Dont assume anything based on others. We were not let onto a flight because the 1.5 hour STOPOVER country required a form proving vaccination just to get onto a flight! BH airline did put us on a different direct flight. Take the time to find out.
Mr. Not Accurate:
It depends on which city or country the stopover is at. For example London is not a problem but Rome is…
