Hello, my name is Miriam, and I’m reaching out with deep humility and hope.
I’m a single mother who has recently returned to Yiddishkeit after going through an extremely difficult chapter in life. Coming back to a life of Torah and emunah has brought meaning and light into my home, and I am doing everything I can to raise my young son with love, stability, and strong values.
Unfortunately, when I came out of that hard time, I was left with maxed-out credit cards, overdue bills, and rent that I’ve been struggling to catch up on. No matter how much I try to stretch every dollar, there’s never enough to cover even the basics—food, utilities, and day-to-day essentials.
This summer, I made the hard but necessary decision not to work because I don’t have childcare and, more importantly, I’ve chosen to take this time to focus on my mental health and finally begin healing from past trauma. I want to show up fully for my son—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too.
I’m turning to the community now, asking for your help to get through this critical time. Every dollar will go toward covering rent, utilities, groceries, and basic needs—the things every mother wants to provide for her child.
Thank you for opening your heart. May Hashem bless you for your kindness.
Tizku l’mitzvos,
Miriam
