I never answer phone calls from numbers I don’t recognize. If it’s important, you can leave a message and I’ll decide if I want to call you back.

Neither do I (which is why I’m no longer a dispatcher for Hatzolah).

That’s nice. But many times they spoof the phone number & it will be a number you do recognize. So good luck with that.

Fyi, sometimes these scammers can actually call from your contacts phone number. So it looks and sounds like them.

After a few minutes of her telling me she needs my voice recognition. 4 birth date…. I asked her what country she’s from… making these scam calls… she got ANGRY! & After a few not such nice words … HUNG UP!

Most important thing is to never answer “yes” to anything they ask. If you say “yes” they can record it and use it later on. Best is to tell them they’re on a recorded line – they usually hang up double quick!!
