  1. Mi K’amcha Yisroel. We are such a holy nation! What a beautiful idea, to greet Shabbos early! I actually bn try to do it every week. Extra Shabbos in our home brings so much serenity and Kedusha. May this holy couple A’H have peace in Gan Eden and be a “gutta beiter” for all of Klal Yisroel.

  2. Obviously everyone means well, but in my opinion it is generally not a good idea to be mekabel Shabbos very early. [18 minutes before shkiah is already an hour and 16 and a half minutes early according to Rabeinu Tam and the Shulchan Aruch and probably the majority of the rishonim.] If someone is truly all ready for Shabbos and they think they decently know and can keep hilchos Shabbos that’s one thing. But very often people that are mekabel Shabbos early are not really ready yet. So in order to make Shabbos early they leave muktzah and garbage out, among other issues. [There is also an issue of not being yotzie ner Shabbos if you light early.]
Keeping Shabbos late motzei Shabbos seems to me like a better idea.
