[COMMUNICATED] Ahavas Tzedakah announced an exciting Chinuch panel, taking place at their upcoming Dinner July 9.
Ahavas Tzedakah is Lakewood’s leading tzedakah organization that has been serving Lakewood for over 30 years. They are renowned for the care and dignity of which they provide for those in need, and epitomize the outstanding chessed that is done in our community.
Founded by Dr and Mrs. Shanik, Ahavas Tzedakah truly cares about bettering the lives of every member of our community. Dr. Shanik has made it his life’s mission to support the health and wellbeing of our children. “There are so many important issues, Parents of today’s children confront on a daily basis and we wanted to provide them with a forum of experts who will give valuable insights and guidance,” Dr. Shanik told TLS.
The panel, entitled “Raising Healthy Children Today; Physically, Spiritually, and Emotionally“ will feature Rav Mordechai Kamenetzky shlita, Rosh Yeshiva Toras Chaim renowned author, lecturer, and contributor to the Yated’s popular chinuch roundtable. R’ Mordechai Weinberger, LCSW, a leading local therapist, acclaimed speaker, and popular radio personality. And of course Dr. Shanik himself, who needs no introduction to his vast medical expertise. The panel will be moderated by R’ Elchonon Schwartz, LMHC, director of crisis intervention at BINA, and maintains a private practice in Lakewood and Brooklyn.
