PHOTO: Strong winds knock out power for hundreds in Lakewood

Hundreds of JCP&L customers are without power this morning – reportedly due to the strong winds.

Several traffic lights are also out including at the intersection of Route 88 and New Hampshire Avenue. Over 300 are without power.

Wires also came down and started burning on Route 88 (pictured).

The electric company expects electric to be restored by 9:00 AM.
