Storm Knocks out Power for Over 1,500 in Lakewood

intersection lights outLast night’s storm left Lakewood once again with severe flooding and knocked out power to over 1,500 JCP&L customers in Lakewood.

Power outages were reported along Pine Street, Cedarbridge Avenue and more.

The electric was knocked out at about 4 a.m. and remained out for about two hours, customers tell TLS.

Several traffic lights were also out, and required police to man the intersections.

Chaveirim Volunteers were out all night too, responding to flooding calls and more.
