Steve Marino Named Employee Of The Month

VIDEO: Steve Marino of the Sanitation Department was named the Employee Of The Month this evening. Steve was joined by his former boss, John Franklin, as well as by the current DPW Director Al Burdge, who had nothing but praise for the employee. Steve received a plaque as well as a reserved parking space for the duration of the month.

The employee of the month is chosen by the Lakewood public and co-workers.

For your convenience, you can download a form HERE to nominate your next Employee Of The Month. The form can be dropped off at an Employee of the Month box in the Manager’s Office, via email at [email protected], or via fax to 732-905-5991. (Attn: Township Manager). No employee may nominate himself or herself.

The program, spearheaded by Committeeman Meir Lichtenstien, was instituted to highlight the achievements of all township employees and recognize those individuals who serve the public and treat fellow employees in an exemplary way.

  1. What a great guy!! I see him every Friday morning when he comes through our development on his truck. Does a diligent job, is mindful of the young children and takes pride in his work!

  2. Hey, I know this guy! He’s the one who came later in the day to my development this past shavuos so as not to disturb the men resting after all night of learning. I think Meir Lichtenstein worked it out.

  3. whoever thought of bringing John Franklin “out of retirement” for the night is a genius! What a classy move . It added a deep inspirational dimension to the event.
