Lakewood Board of Education Attorney Michael Inzelbuch this afternoon made the following statement to TLS in response to the Mayor’s comments about the School District funding.

“On behalf of the Lakewood Board of Education, Administration, and myself, we again must make it clear that we appreciate all the Lakewood Township Municipal Body has done for ALL the children of Lakewood.

I can truly personally attest to the constant concern, assistance, and involvement of the Township as to Lakewood school children, particularly, of Mayor Coles and Committeeman Lichtenstein.

It is our hope that we can TOGETHER find solutions to the ever pressing needs of a District that has been inadequately funded for many years.”
