Christopher S. Porrino, picked by Governor Christie as Acting Attorney General, was confirmed on Monday as the Attorney General.

Porrino released the following statement:

“To be confirmed as New Jersey’s Attorney General is an unimaginable honor. I am grateful for the confidence shown in me by the Governor, and by the Senate in confirming my nomination this afternoon. The mission of the Attorney General’s Office is vital, and touches millions of lives across our state every day.
