Due to the air pollution from the Canadian wildfire smoke, air quality in the area has
deteriorated. This may lead to adverse effects, especially in those with underlying lung disease, such as asthma, pregnant women, the elderly and young children.
The following measures are recommended at this time:
1. Limit outdoor activities, especially strenuous activities such as exercise.
2. Use your air–conditioner and keep your windows closed.
3. Utilize indoor air purifiers and filters if available.
4. Air quality can change rapidly, we will let you know if there are any further updates.
Rabosai, if there’s one thing we can all agree on it’s that Yehuda Kaminetzky is not just an md he’s also an facp and a role model for us all, so if he’s giving us these guidelines then the least we can do is cooperate.
