A state judiciary mediation program has given relief to 750 homeowners facing foreclosure, a report in NorthJersey.com said. The New Jersey Judiciary Foreclosure Mediation Program works with homeowners through trained attorney mediators, currently a group of 82, according to the report. Some of the attorneys are able to get loans were modified or have the lender give the homeowner extra time to voluntarily leave, the report said.
