State Police Join Search For Missing Lakewood Senior [UPDATED]

The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit has joined the search for a Lakewood man who went missing this morning. 

According to a Facebook post from his granddaughter, Robert Morris, 88, left his home on Huntingdon Drive in Lakewood at around 9:30 AM to go to a doctor appointment but never arrived at the doctor’s office. He was last seen leaving Leisure Village in a silver 2007 Toyota Camry, where he was to head west on Route 70 to his doctor.

Mr. Morris is described as being 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes.

If seen, please immediately contact the Lakewood Police Department at 732-363-0200.

UPDATE: Mr. Morris has reportedly been found safe and in good condition.
