Starting This Weekend, N.J. Turnpike To Accept E-ZPass In All Lanes

ez pass acceptedE-ZPass will be available in every lane at New Jersey Turnpike interchanges starting this weekend. The toll road is converting all 136 cash lanes at the 28 interchanges to accept both cash and E-ZPass. Transportation Commissioner James Simpson says the change should make driving less stressful for E-ZPass customers because they won’t need to change lanes.

The conversion is set to start at Interchange 1 at around 10:30 p.m. March 5 and continue north until it’s completed early on March 6. AP
