Q: Tell us about your current job/business. How did the PCS Business Enrichment Course prepare you for your career?

A: I am a patient advocate. I am paid by private patients to assist them with their medical care, organize their care, medical histories and imagery. I also communicate with doctors and insurance navigations so that the patients can lead functioning lifestyles.

The PCS Business Enrichment Course taught many important topics which taught me me how to set up and run a business. I was exposed to many situations which have helped me with the sales, marketing, and finance of my company. I gained a lot of valuable information from the professionals that taught in the course.

Q: For whom would you recommend this course?

A:  I would recommend this course to anyone that doesn’t yet have a feeling of what they want to do; this course will give them exposure to various fields. For innovative people that would like to start their own businesses, this course will offerthem a glance into many situations and scenarios that will be an asset to them when building their own businesses.

This course gave me the confidence so that I am not fearful of new situations that come up, and it gave me the skills to run my own business.

Q: Why is it important to receive proper training from industry experts before entering the business world?

Preparation is key before entering the workforce. It’s important to have a strong foundation of knowledge and confidence when dealing with the constantly changing environments in the business world.
