The upcoming 92nd Anniversary Dinner of Agudath Israel of America will celebrate and reflect on the unique role and vital mission that has always been Agudath Israel’s raison d’être: to stand up and speak up for Torah Judaism and Torah Jewry.

Whether it’s ensuring a hard-working Orthodox employee retain his job without having to work on Yom Tov…obtaining $100’s of millions in services and funding for yeshivos… facilitating and arranging events on the scale of the recent Siyum HaShas or the Atzeres Tefilla on behalf of Yidden in Eretz Yisroel… fighting to protect and preserve Shechita and Bris Milah… The details, names and faces of the issues are constantly changing, but at its core, the matter remains the same: The voice of the lone individual would be an inaudible whisper. Without a unified, strong and consistent voice to stand up and speak up on their behalf, both the individual as well as the greater Orthodox Jewish community would find their needs and way of life challenged.
