A Stabbing on 2nd Street in downtown Lakewood has sent one victim to the hospital in unknown condition.
Police have placed a perimeter around the crime scene as they investigate the incident.
One suspect is in police custody.

That’s my offices block! Lakewood needs better security!
As much as I loved downtown Lakewood, I try to avoid it now. My favorite coffee spot on Clifton as well as restaurants on 2nd st. I lived in Lakewood for 17 yrs before moving to tons river 5 mths ago. On 2nd st, on many occasions, I’ve been approached by ppl asking for money. My breaking point, I was in la tapita with my husband when we were approached by a nasty female asking my husband for money. It’s sad that I had to come out of my character in public while trying to enjoy a meal with my husband. Something needs to be done. I miss going shopping downtown
